Random toughts





Just saw this as an advert in the notice circulated


NEW***Tomato Plants
Large number of Sun Gold plants, lovely golden tomatoes, somewhere between a cherry and a normal sized fruit
Small number of Banana Cream, presumably yellow haven not grown them before
said it was a heritage variety on the packet
Small number of Vintage Wine, presumably red - have not grown them before said it was a heritage variety on the packet
Small number of Beef Tomatoes

I am selling my surplus plants because there are so many of them this year
The money raised will go to a World Vision project in Uganda


NEW***Jalapeno Pepper plants
All should be OK for the end of May, if this weather keeps up then earlier
All have been grown in an unheated greenhouse, but can be grown outdoors if hardened off

Nice to know that people concerned about Uganda .But i look at it as a way of marketing , People in devloped countries are too gulity concious these days . They would buy these just to make themselves happy and tell the world they did their bit.when only about 10% of this money would actually go in devlopment.

But i tend to think that not purchasing Blood Diamond for example ,Thus stopping the child labour is more important or starting a School , Education is more of a direct line of action
